Jesus of Nazareth: peasant workman, wandering rabbi, healer. And also, Messiah, High King of the Universe, and God. Jesus was a true, historical figure in whose messy life natural and supernatural intersected with explosive results. The Creed we quote in the Prologue spends 85% of its time painting his life in bold, deft strokes. Everything else, even God the Father, only gets a line or two. To understand Christianity you have to understand this man from Nazareth. Christianity is Jesus.
